drive: my quest to find a motorcycle came to an end in january. i have searched for a number of years, looking for the right bike. on an average day, my search resulted in a custom built chopper that fit my price range. after a series of e-mails to the owner, i became comfortable with the bike and made the decision to part myself with some money. the decision to buy the bike was exciting, the trip to pick up the bike was long. the bike was built by the guys at twisted choppers in sioux falls, south dakota. yes, i could have had it shipped to dallas, but i would have missed a good road trip. my trip took me through oklahoma, kansas, iowa, nebraska, and south dakota. overall the trip was about 1800 miles and took me a day and a half, with a night stay in wichita, kansas. true, it was a long trip, but i was too excited to get tired.

my bike: with a little rearranging, my bike fit perfectly into my home. considering my kitchen table truly served as a holder for mail and beer, it got moved and replaced with my bike.
