flight: on a flight from salt lake city, utah to boise, idaho, i look out on the snow covered rockies. i traveled to ketchum, idaho with some friends for a ski get-a-way. with my bad knee, i didn’t want to risk further injury... so i stuck to relaxing and taking pictures. we were blessed with perfect weather the entire trip. blue skies, a warm fire, and good friends helped to make for a great time.

slopes: the february sun beats down on the idaho snow. shad looks out on the slopes as the lift moves skiers to the top of the mountain. the sun helped warm us in the 40 degree weather. living in flat, concrete covered dallas, the mountains were a welcomed sight for this city dweller.

keary: the trip would have not happened if it was not for keary. keary on the right, with michael, prepare to head to the slopes. through a work connection, keary was given use to a house in the area and invited friends for the get-a-way. thanks keary!

taking flight: this snowboarder wasn’t part of our group, but was too good to pass up catching him flying down the mountain.

going up: keary and john head back up the mountain for another trip down. the guys got to ski two days, i took pictures one day and spent another day sitting in a hot tub and getting a massage. the trip was exactly what i needed... i was able to forget what day it was, i had time to relax, and i got to hangout with some good friends.
